Robert William Burk, M.D.

Although born in New York state and raised in West Virginia, Ponte Vedra has been home to Dr. Burk for almost 30 years. With genuine intellectual curiosity, Dr. Burk has traveled around the country and world to partner with elite global surgeons to increase his knowledge and add to his repertoire.

Dr. Burk believes in staying ahead of the latest medical breakthroughs to deliver the stunning results that he achieves — all with the safest, most advanced surgical techniques. Above all, Dr. Burk is focused on his patients’ wellbeing and satisfaction, helping them to attain the results they desire with his surgical abilities, keen eye, and sharp mind. Dr. Burk is a true artist, although he often says, “I have to give credit to my mother [a couture tailor] for my skilled hands.”

Dr. Burk attended the University of Virginia, where he graduated with the highest distinction. At the prestigious Duke University, Dr. Burk earned his medical degree. From there, he attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he completed his five-year general surgery training program. Under the guidance of Dr. Luis Vasconez, a leading plastic surgeon, Dr. Burk completed a two-year aesthetic and endoscopic plastic surgery residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
