This patient did an amazing job with her weight loss and underwent a brachioplasty elsewhere before coming into our office. It's important to understand the difference between "skin removal surgery" and body contouring. If you take a look at her "before" photos, she still has a significant amount of hanging skin that is not contoured whatsoever around her arms. Compare this to her "after" photos. Keep in mind a certain degree of skin relaxation/stretch is expected in all cases, but her initial surgeon did not remove enough skin to contour her arms and give her a long-lasting result.
