Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Brian M. Derby was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  After graduating with his medical degree in Tampa, Dr. Derby spent six years in a highly selective plastic surgery residency, followed by two additional years of elective fellowship study under the supervision of world-renowned plastic surgeons.  Completing his education in 2015, Dr. Derby decided to bring his expertise and leadership back to Florida as a partner in the practice of Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center. Since arriving in Sarasota, he has established his reputation as an extremely ethical, creative, skilled, and compassionate surgeon.
